Hi Jun, we are sorry to hear this. Please do reach out to our team if you have any concerns, we are here here to assist you and would be happy to provide further explanation as needed. Every patient has a unique journey and our team will be able to provide a response related to you and your specific treatment plan. In response to the day 1 bloods, these tests are generally less time-critical than blood tests performed during an active treatment cycle, as there is a small degree of flexibility around when medications are commenced. During active treatment, however, blood test results are often required on the same day to allow specialists to make timely decisions regarding medication adjustments and trigger timing. For this reason, we recommend attending a priority collection centre before the designated cut-off time whenever possible to optimize result turnaround. We recognize that this isn’t always achievable, particularly for patients who live further from a priority collection site. In these situations, our clinicians will use all available clinical information, including ultrasound findings where appropriate, to ensure treatment decisions can still be made without unnecessary delays. If you would like to discuss your experience further, please do reach out. We encourage you to contact our clinic directly so we can alleviate any concerns and ensure a smooth treatment journey.
