We appreciate any time patients take the time to provide us feedback, but we would like to provide some clarifications. We do offer ovulation induction with oral medications such as Clomid, either with timed intercourse or intrauterine insemination (IUI). However, we believe appropriate evaluation and monitoring are important for both the safety and effectiveness of fertility treatment. Our goal is not simply to prescribe medication, but to provide fertility treatment that is individualized, appropriately monitored, and designed to maximize the chance of pregnancy while minimizing avoidable risks. Lastly, we should note that we have worked hard to create a culture that celebrates and promotes diversity. It is our joy to serve and care for patients of all backgrounds, beliefs, and ethnicities. We deeply regret anything that has given any other impression. We would be happy to speak with anyone with these types of concerns in hopes of making things right and improving our care for all patients. Please reach out to our office when possible.

Pregnancy loss can be devastating, and we are deeply sorry to read about the heartbreak described. Patient privacy laws limit what can be discussed publicly, but we would like to offer some general information about our practice’s approach, policies, and procedures that may provide helpful context. Our physicians routinely discuss both tubal reversal and IVF with patients who have undergone tubal ligation. Many prefer tubal reversal because they want the opportunity to conceive naturally. As part of that discussion, we explain that there is an increased risk of ectopic pregnancy, as well as biochemical pregnancy loss, which may represent a very early tubal pregnancy that resolves spontaneously. We also explain that scar tissue may form during the healing process, even when the tubes are open at the time of surgery. Postoperative follow-up is an important part of the process. At postoperative visits, our general practice is to discuss a follow-up HSG—typically within four to six months and sometimes sooner depending on age—to reassess whether the tubes remain open. Continued follow-up also allows changing circumstances and other available options to be discussed privately and appropriately. IVF is an alternative that may be chosen initially or considered later if the tubes become scarred. Our practice also actively participates in clinical trials through which many qualifying patients may receive an IVF cycle at no cost. We understand that fertility treatment is an emotional process. Our team works hard to provide clear information, thoughtful guidance, and compassionate support to those pursuing their hopes of building a family. Anyone with questions or concerns is welcome to contact our office directly so they can be addressed appropriately and privately.

Yes, CARE Fertility provides a comprehensive egg donation program. The clinic was the first practice in North Texas to achieve a live birth using a frozen donor egg and continues to offer both fresh and banked donor egg cycles. Prospective recipients undergo a thorough medical evaluation, and donor eggs are sourced from a local donor program or an established egg bank. The program includes genetic screening of donors, synchronization of cycles, and coordinated embryo transfer, delivering high pregnancy rates for patients with diminished ovarian reserve or other egg‑related infertility.
