Ms. KP: I am sorry to know you were very disappointed with your experience in my office. I am afraid that there could be some miscommunication with my business office. They may have informed you that your first insurance company would "normally reject the claim" which was according to your insurance's coverage of no IVF coverage. Then we will file with the 2nd insurance. This is a routine task we handle daily. The misunderstanding could arise if some patients request us to bypass the first insurance and file with the 2nd one directly. In that scenario, the claim will be denied by the 2nd insurance and we will need to file with the first one and obtain a denial coverage before filing with the 2nd one.
