Dear Amira, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are genuinely sorry that your experience did not reflect the high standards of organisation, punctuality and communication that we strive to maintain. We immediately apologised and refunded the full amount back to your account. We would like to clarify and acknowledge the situation transparently. On both occasions, your appointment had been rearranged at a very short notice, and in order to avoid postponing your care further — particularly — we made the decision to accommodate your consultation at the very end of an already full clinic list. Our clinic formally closes at 5:00pm; however, your consultation was scheduled online after 6:00pm so that we would not delay you by another day. We had explained in advance that, as this was being added to the end of a full clinical schedule, there was a possibility of running late. To prevent cancelling again and to ensure continuity, we offered the consultation online so that Dr. Chawla could continue working beyond clinic hours rather than postponing your appointment. That said, we fully acknowledge that the delay occurred and that the communication on this occasion could have been better. As soon as this was brought to our attention, Dr. Chawla personally called you to apologise. Upon your request for a refund, this was processed immediately within a few hours. There was no hesitation on our part in issuing the full refund. We take it seriously. patients are often accommodated urgently because of cycle timing, and while we try very hard to avoid postponements, we recognise that waiting without timely updates is frustrating — particularly for a paid private consultation. We have reviewed our internal processes following this incident to ensure communication during end-of-day clinics is clearer and more proactive in the future. We remain committed to supporting all patients with professionalism, transparency and respect for their time. Should you ever wish to reconnect, we would be very happy to assist you.
