Lamentamos sinceramente que su experiencia en AISH no haya sido la que esperaba y que haya percibido falta de empatía o acompañamiento. Precisamente por tomarnos muy en serio la experiencia de nuestros pacientes, hemos revisado la documentación correspondiente a su primera consulta. Y queremos aclarar un aspecto concreto de su reseña: en la documentación clínica de aquella consulta no consta que se le indicara que “necesitaba una ovodonación”. Lo que consta es la valoración de su reserva ovárica y la propuesta de un tratamiento mediante FIV-ICSI con sus propios óvulos, contemplándose incluso la posibilidad de acumular ovocitos si la respuesta a la primera estimulación fuera baja. Entendemos que recibir información sobre una reserva ovárica disminuida puede resultar difícil y que la forma de comunicarla es tan importante como la propia información médica. Si la manera en que se le trasladó esta valoración le hizo sentirse poco acompañada, lo lamentamos sinceramente. Nos alegramos de que posteriormente haya conseguido su embarazo y le deseamos de corazón que todo continúe perfectamente. En AISH seguiremos trabajando para ofrecer rigor médico, claridad y, por supuesto, la empatía que nuestros pacientes merecen.
