As every patient's treatment plan is different, the scans and medication required can only be confirmed once a full history has been taken and an initial assessment carried out, which is why we're unable to give an exact total cost before that point. This falls well short of the standard of care and communication we aim to provide, and we completely understand your disappointment. You were right to expect a warm, prompt start to your consultation and a clear written summary afterwards. The delay at the beginning of your appointment, the lack of a proper introduction, and the absence of a detailed follow-up letter are not acceptable, and we are sorry for the frustration and the sense that your consultation fee did not deliver what it should have. We would very much like to put this right. We'd like to offer you a complimentary follow-up appointment with Dr Gorgy, at no charge, to properly address your concerns, questions and recommendations.
